Time travel to the future

Futuristic topics often mix with science fiction, the downfall of humanity, distopics worlds guided by greed. The only thing that's true, for me, is that the future is uncertain. Time is unpredictable, But what if we could foresee things?

If given the chance to travel to the future, I´d like to visit my relatives and friends, just to know if everything it's okay. That being said, I want to know if any accidents had occurred during those years I skipped into the future. Why? With that information I could “prevent” those accidents in my present, be ready for them. Regarding the amount of time, 10 years into the future it's a good number. I'd stay for a couple of days just to gather information, then I'd leave. I don't like the idea of staying for too long, i´d just focus on my task and nothing else, I don't want to know about my future either, I prefer to keep it that way. Too much information may spoil some events and others, it´s something you can´t predict nor you can control. In the end it's all a gamble, should we explore the unknown even if we´re not prepared for it? If we avoid some events, does that mean others will be erased for the better or for the worse? tricky questions.

English language challenges

In the last 3 months I´ve been in my last English course. The learning process of a new language can be intimidating at first, but as you go down the road it can mean so much more than just a “subject” you have to pass.  Obi-Wan Kenobi During my last four years of highschool I had some activities related to this subject, they were the reason why English became appealing to me. By the beginning of twenty-twenty I had finished school and therefore my studies, but then out of the blue came the pandemic. I took the year off, hoping covid would last for a few weeks, but well, we all know how it ended. Through the year I tried to maintain the knowledge I gained from the school's English courses, but I slowly began to lose interest. I didn't feel motivated, but I still read and watched things from time to time. This year things got better in a way, entering college gave me the push I needed to regain my motivation for my studies, and so I noticed all the time I wasted. Fortunately ad...

Holidays

The best moments are shared with family or friends. When I was little I didn’t enjoyed going on trips with my family, to be away of my home, friends, of what I knew. Now a days I regret not have appreciated those moments when I should have. They are unforgettable, unique memories, which you can cherish forever and ever.   On my last family trip I got to know the north of Chile , Coquimbo . We made the trip the 7 th  and returned the 14 th  of February, present year. On the 7 th my parents and I got up early in the morning, six or seven am, got ready and left to pick up my cousin and aunt, making a total of five people. On that time Holiday´s transport regulations regarding the pandemic where just announced, therefor, for each family member we had to fill a paper with our health details in order to leave the city. After six long hours, some stops, plus the struggle that was filling the papers, we arrived on our relative´s apartment, and damn was it worth it. Th...

Iceland

If I had enough money and time, where would I go? That’s something I ask myself whenever I see a photo of an airplane or a train. To travel is to experience something new, different, maybe to get a little pause to rest from your weekly routine.
